The first step in our design process is to arrange a consultation with our clients by phone, Skype or in person at Brooklyn studio. During this meeting we will discuss design goals, timeline, scope of work, and budget. Although we strive to create custom materials for all of our clients, we also have semi-custom options that can accommodate more modest budgets.

Please note: for work on weddings and events our semi-custom invitation suites start at $750 (for 100) and our custom invitation suites start at $1,000 (for 100) and our design rates for customization start at $100/hour. For reference, all expenses included, most of our clients have budgets between $2,500 and $5,000 for invitations and $4,000 and $10,000 for all wedding related paper goods (save the dates, invitations, day of materials). 




The second step in our process, usually 2-4 weeks after initial consultation (depending on the season/availability), is presenting our clients with design concept and timeline for our work together. This includes visual representations of our proposed final product and timeline for design and production. 

Please note: A 50% deposit is required after this point to book our services.



Design Development / Production

Upon approval of design concept, we develop and complete design work and create digital and physical mockups of the designs for the customers approval. Upon final client approval we place our order for polymer plates of the designs and move into production. While the timelines vary depending on scope of project and studio availability, design development and production are usually completed within 2-4 weeks. 



Delivery / Additional Services

Upon completion of production, we either arrange for delivery or pickup of your custom designed products and discuss any other design requests you may have. All in all, most jobs take 6-8 weeks to complete from initial inquiry.

Please note: Rush jobs will be accepted on a case by case basis and can usually be fulfilled within 2-4 weeks for an increased rate of between 10 and 25%. Because all of our goods are custom, handmade, and the result of collaboration between designer and client, we typically aim to start the process 4-6 months prior to the event for invitations and 2-4 months prior to the event for day of materials. This ensures enough time to design, order suitable materials, and produce.
